After spending a few years in Tahiti for Business, Frederic Rousset and Catherine Michiels, Eurodis directors, decided to come to New Zeland for the wildlife, environment and endemic birdlife.

The idea was to set up a new company to share their french flair. Orangina was already very famous in European countries and Frederic immediately thought of its great potential in New Zealand. The idea and new concept were ready to be developped and the Eurodis adventure began in 2005 with the official launch of Orangina during the Auckland Food Show. The essence of the Orangina Spirit has been a great success in Aotearoa, and it seems that Newzealanders quite enjoy shaking this funny bottle.

Passionate about real traditional french cuisine, and also very good chef, Frederic and Catherine, decided later on, to introduce in New Zealand typical and traditionnal gourmet food. What is better than using french mustard and vinegar to make your own traditional vinaigrette. Working with three different french regional companies, Fallot, Frairie de Bourgogne and Mets de Provence, they started introducing these lovely and fine products in 2006. And it worked! It definitely seems that people all around the world appreciate fine food and enjoy a lovely meal.

“Our food products are selected among the finest traditional French gastronomy and culture. All manufactured following regional recipes, these products are made out of the finest natural ingredients – No artificial flavours or colours – according to the French “savoir faire”” said Catherine.

So, the adventure could continue and in 2008, being attentive to the health of the Earth and its people, and believing in the virtues of Organic agricultures and Fair Trade movement, they decided to import a new range of products, Organic and Organic Fair Trade products from Mets de Provence and Huileries Emile Noel manufacturers. This new pleasure combines health, fairly and good food!
